Finishing Touches.

I had Steve make me some frames a while back, it was the start of the bedroom redo.
These are crooked, don't judge, its a quick picture of the possible layout, I am still debating. Steve put these frames together so I could get the exact colors I wanted; in different sizes, styles, and shapes. I was set on my accent wall being the exact same grey as on these frames:
I did not anticipating finding the PERFECT lamp at Lowes, of all places, and on clearance for $9
I will touch back in on this room once I find the PERFECT chair to reupholster for this area.

Arg Matees!!!! Magnet Board

For years I have had letter magnets on the back of my front door, the Leappad kind that make all sorts of noises and sounds.. They are amazing, truly.. The boy knew all of his sounds and letters real early just by playing. However as amazing as it is to have magnets on the back of my front door, I am slightly too old now a days solution:
Now his he has a space that he can put them up, dance around to the music, and spell to his hearts content. It was simple, Generally we don't use wrapping paper to do a project, in this case though it was the only paper we could find to match his room in the size that we needed. We had some left over trim hanging out in the garage that matches the rest of the house perfectly. a few 45 degree cuts and it was perfect. generally we would have trimmed this in and had a backing on it, however with Kenny, the size of the project, and for play purposes we needed it a little bit more stable so we hooked the metal to the wall and framed it straight on the wall. As homeowners we get to call the shots so this was conveinent to us.
